When relocating, you often don't have the luxury of looking at every conceivable area listing. Most likely, you'll have to view most of them online and trust your relocation agents opinion in deciding which listings are worth seeing in person. In meeting for the first time to establish your needs and wants, prepare in advance a list to email your professional relocation agent.

• In advance, days before your trip to see available listings,arrange your needs into one list. Then put your wants in another.When a property comes up short on your must-haves, it's one less house the relo agent will need on his list.
• Have a set price range. This could be based on loan pre-approval or a safe estimate of how much you'll get from the sale of your present home.
• Take into account drive time to your job or other activities. Traffic in the San Mateo area could be different than what you're used to, so let us know how long a commute you're willing to undertake.

While virtual tours and photos are great, there's nothing like visiting homes in person. I can schedule any necessary appointments and map a route.
